    For many travelers who visited Istria the remarks they would give would be positive such as a beautiful and charming place to visit.  Certainly not a typical tourist destination where the crowds are smaller, a quaint tourist attraction that would strike your curiosity to explore more of its Mediterranean beauty.

    While most of the shopping centers open in Hong Kong at around 11:00 a.m., a morning walk along Tsim Sha Tsui is good to spend time exploring the waterfront of Victoria Harbor view where you could breathe a fresh cool air and take time to relax if the weather is good.  An impressive sight of Hong Kong’s business skyline can be seen fronting the Harbor and occasional passerby are strolling along the nice tiled pavement.  One of the tourist attractions in Tsim Sha Tsui is the Avenue of Stars where the statues and hand prints of known and award winning Hong Kong celebrities and film directors have their stars with names on this spot.

     If you happen to visit the lake Garda in Italy you may want to consider  booking your stay in this newly renovated hotel and restaurant in Caprino Veronese called Albergo al Vignol.  The website is default in Italian but thanks to Google it will translate it for you.  From my search for others who reviewed this hotel it has a high regard and recommendation by most tourists who have already stayed at that hotel.

     The first things that come to my mind when we speak about Italy are the famous historical structures like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Colloseum for its popularity amongst tourist plus it was taught and included in class subject in literature during high school.  Little do I  know about Italy’s nature attraction until I came across the top ten most visited places in Italy which is Lake Garda the biggest lake in Italy located in the Northern region.

Time to leave Canyon Woods

    Our check-out time at Canyon Woods should be 12:00 noon but they allowed us to extend until 1:00 p.m. so we maximized our stay in our room, just in time we finished packing our things the bell boy arrived on time and carried our things on the trolley and brought it out and helped us to put it on our car.   We left the hotel happy and at the same time satisfied with the friendly approach and good service of the crews from the receptionist, maintenance and bellboy.  They deserve a commendation for their good customer service.

     In my previous post I left you hanging with my preview of KL Hop-on Hop-off bus, and this post is the continuation of where the bus brought us and I will show you the highlights of our tour within the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

From Oxford Hotel Singapore to where our feet brought us

     During our stay in Singapore we booked in Oxford Hotel  to sleep in for two nights, it is a budget hotel located in Queen Street, Bugis .  They have the basic necessities for their guests to sleep in for a night.  We were three in the room with my two siblings and there were only two single beds but we arranged an extra bed which they put in the middle which made the room crowded for the three of us.

          We arrived Suntec City mall too early so most of the store inside were closed, but the entrance is already open for office workers having their offices in that building, that's why we were able to get inside.  Our purpose in going to Suntec City is not to shop for electronic gadgets which is Suntec City mall is known for having the latest and selling the cheapest electronic gadget in Singapore.  The reason we were in that mall was to catch the first voyage of the Duck tour at 10:00 a.m.

          One of the most memorable and exciting experience when I traveled Singapore in 2009 was the Duck Tour ride.  We only had one day to tour around Singapore so our limited time to travel around making it easier to have a glimpse on most of the tourist attractions that Singapore has to offer.

            Whenever there’s a possibility for me to combine work and travel I would definitely pinch in my desire to travel, especially if my assignment would be out of town.  There was this instance, that I was able to have a glimpse of Boracay and indulge in its pristine clear waters when I had a project in Culasi, Antique which is nearby Caticlan, where the Boracay Island is located.

     This has been the second home of the First family of the Philippines during the reign of former Ferdinand Marcos, who was known as an Ilocano, born and raised in Ilocos Norte and reigned as president for twenty years from 1965 until such time that his government has toppled down in 1986 by the new administrator former President Corazon C. Aquino.  When the new government took place, some of the wealth of the Marcoses has been sequestered, which was deemed as an ill gotten wealth and was turned over to the government for administration, and one of which is this grandiose palace as called in Ilocano as "Malacanang ti Amianan", in English it means "Malacanang of the North".  

A peek to Tam-awan Village

     A 20 minute drive from Baguio City proper, lies the Tam-awan village in Pinsao where Ifugao  Nipa huts are built on a mountain for tourist attraction.
