Our family love to eat and in every place that we visit, we always look out for the best food they have to offer, and Tagaytay is best known to serve the best “Bulalo” so we included in our itinerary to have our lunch in Tagaytay before proceeding to Canyon Woods where we are going to stay for two days.
We just happen to pass by this restaurant along Aguinaldo hi-way which looks cozy outside and just like its name it just looks like a house. When we entered the door at a nicely decorated barrier with antique jars and old wood lounge sofas were concealed behind it is a large and exotic design dining area.
It was a weekday and already past 12 noon that's why the main dining area has few diners and they also have dining area upstairs which I assume has the same size as the main dining area which can occupy at least 100 diners.
We headed further in the back area and went down to their alfresco dining area and there's even more, it has an overlooking dining area with the view of Taal volcano.

The servers accommodated our orders immediately and after 30 minutes they served it to us. Our main course is none other than Bulalo and we partnered it with Grilled Tuna Belly.
Captivating view of Taal volcano from our table |
The food was served hot specially the Bulalo soup, which is perfect with Tagaytay's cool weather and breathtaking view of Taal volcano.
Bulalo - Php 510.00 per serving |
Inihaw na Tuna Belly (300 grams) - Php 285.00 |
There were band singers serenading every diners per table and when were eating they played two songs for us "What makes you beautiful" and "Just the way you are". They were good! we love the beat and their timing and of course the way they sing is very entertaining.
For our final verdict, about the place, well, definitely there’s no question about it, we recommend the place for its spacious and comfortable dining areas, it's nice view and entertainment they are offering to their visitors. Pricing is quite justifiable wherein our total bill amounted to Php 1,296.25 which already includes 5 steamed rice, 1 vanilla shake and 2 bottled water. But for the taste of food we ordered, it fell short on our expectation when it comes to the taste of Bulalo and the Inihaw na Tuna Belly we tried from other restaurant outside Tagaytay.
