Beach resort in Sariaya, Quezon

Swimming pool in Villa del Prado beach resort

Sometimes there are travels which are unplanned which will push through when time and resources connives with what the majority want.  Just like this one long weekend when we went to a beach resort in Sariaya, Quezon, it was an unplanned trip to the beach with the family, it just emanated when one of my daughter simply would like to go for a swim in our clubhouse but her sister want to go out of town on a weekend and suddenly I want to go to the beach.   Finally we ended our conversation in going to a beach resort within a short proximity from Metro Manila.  Our choices were Batangas, Olongapo and Quezon, but the latter won the vote because we haven’t been to any beaches in Quezon.

A walk in the pond

Walk 'N Water ball park, Davao City

water ball

Just like zorb ball where the rider will get inside a big round plastic ball, but the difference is that the rider will manipulate the movement of the ball to roll in the water.  This has been our itinerary after the Zorb park before we went to Crocodile Park, which are all located inside the complex of the Riverfront Corporate City, Diversion Road, Maa, Davao City.

Another adventure in Davao for sports enthusiasts and or those seeking for a different kind of thrill, there’s zorbing in Zorb Park located at Diversion Road, Maa, Davao City.  As Wikipedia defined it, the word zorbing means ‘globe riding, sphereing, orbing, it is a recreation of rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic.’

Zipline in Zip City Davao

Zip+city
Davao outdoor adventure

Zip City in Matina, Davao offers zip lining with a distance of 320 meters located at the Hilltop, Barangay Langub.  This is one of the country’s longest zip lines and pioneers in this adventure offering. While gliding from above, a scenic view of Mount Apo and Davao Gulf could be enjoyed so any fear could be set aside for awhile from the relaxing view on top.  They have complete and safe equipment like a harness, head gears, cable and trolleys that have passed the standard requirement of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation.  And the crews assisting the riders are professional and helpful to their customers.

Family bonding at Eden Nature Park

Our first itinerary in our plan is to visit Nature Eden Park which is located in Mount Talomo, Toril, Davao.  We took a taxi to drive us for our first day itinerary so we can maximize our time in each of our destination. On our way the driver keeps on describing what can we see there and the activities we can do inside, which made us so excited to reach the place immediately and my 2 kids are enjoying the conversation  with the driver, asking him if there is like this or like that, and the man is likewise happy answering their queries.  As we

Digyo Island, a hidden paradise

Digyo island a small island in Inopacan, Leyte with crystal clear waters
One of the four islands of Cuatro Islas in Inopacan, Leyte which is the smallest and farthest among the four islands.

After a day's tour in Baybay town and nearby beaches, we are still clamoring to see more of Leyte's beauty. We were told that Cuatro Islas at Inopacan, a nearby town after Baybay has this beautiful island called Digyo which is not so well known to tourists.

The beauty of Baybay Leyte

Baybay, Leyte Plaza at sea side

"Seaside" is the meaning of Baybay, which the name of this small town in Leyte was named merely because of its location beside the sea.

The town plaza is clean and few bystanders can be seen in the area during daytime, people usually come around late in the afternoon until late at night because the weather is cooler and it's nice to see the glimmering lights when they are all switched on.

Zoobic Safari Adventure

Zoobic Safari, Subic, Philippines

Bengal tiger at Zoobic Safari adventure ride

A close encounter with the hungry ferocious tigers is the main event of our tour in Zoobic.  In the middle of the tour, you will be given a chance to get near them.  To get inside their habitat, we had to ride in an enclosed jeep, with customized steel matting windows on both sides and on top.  Since we are seeking for an adventure we opted to bring a piece of meat to lure the tigers to come near our vehicle, you also have a choice if you just want to see them in their habitat or a real adventure by enticing them with a piece of meat so they will come near you.

Wright Park, Baguio City

Horse back riding at Wright Park Baguio City

Wright Park is one of the nearest destinations from where we had our lunch and my daughters are so excited to ride a horse so I let them have their own horse, of course with a guide.  I paid for Php200.00 each horse for a 30 minute ride.  If you want to ride for an hour it will cost you Php300.00.
